He highlighted the priorities of the new civilian government and called for Turkish support to rebuild institutions, restore financial stability, and improve the efficiency of economic bodies.

The meeting also examined cooperation in the minerals industry, with focus on gold refining and securing international certification to allow Sudan to engage more competitively in global markets.

Turkey expressed its solidarity with Sudan and pledged enhanced support in the form of training and technical assistance. Karahan also indicated that Ankara will study options for resolving Sudan’s outstanding debts. Both sides agreed to advance their economic partnership and coordinate efforts to help Sudan recover from the effects of the war.
