Khartoum State Police have executed 15 coordinated security operations, resulting in the arrest of 622 suspects and the recovery of over 26,000 stolen items belonging to citizens. The operations, supported by military and intelligence units, targeted criminal activity across the state’s localities.
According to Police Spokesperson Brigadier Fath al-Rahman Mohamed al-Toum, seizures included 314 firearms, 14,600 rounds of ammunition, 2,645 cannabis heads, 1,616 narcotic pills, 1,822 strips of tablets, and large quantities of unauthorized medical drugs.
The police confirmed that prosecutions are underway, stressing that public cooperation is key to sustaining security. Citizens were urged to immediately report crimes, suspicious activity, or negative phenomena through local stations or the emergency hotline 999.
